Suez Cement Group receives bt100 Award for best brands in Egypt

Suez Cement Group of Companies (SCGC) won bt100 Award as one of the best brands in Egypt, where SCGC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jose Maria received the award during the third edition of bt100 Awards.

Bt100 is a tribute to the leaders of the governmental, private sector and corporate operating in the Egyptian market for their important and effective role in the economic community, where their achievements go in parallel with the State’s economic reform plan and 2030 vision.

Suez Cement won the award in recognition of its role in offering innovative and environment-friendly cement products, which contribute in minimizing carbon dioxide emissions for the CEM II family products by 127 thousand tons in 2019 as compared to other traditional products thus going in accordance with the Group’s commitment to the sustainable development goals 2030.

Suez Cement CEO Jose Maria expressed happiness for granting Suez Cement Group bt100 Award as one of the best brands in Egypt. The Group was granted this award after meeting all standards set by bt100 jury. It enhances position of the Group as a leading international cement producer.

Jose Maria stressed this bt100 award is a recognition of the relentless efforts made by the Group and its employees in a market full of fierce competition.
