Schools maintenance initiative launched by Helwan Cement Company

Out of its commitment to support the surrounding communities and within the framework of its non-stop efforts to deepen the community partnership concept, Helwan Cement Company has supported an initiative for maintenance of the governmental schools in the areas surrounding the company. This initiative comes with the framework of the company's social responsibility to support local communities and improve the level of services to citizens, especially in the education sector while creating the environment appropriate for students of governmental schools.

The Manager of Helwan cement plant Eng. Mootaz Yousry said that this initiative comes as part of an integrated package of support by the company within the framework of its social responsibility thus enhancing the societal awareness of the governmental schools. He added that the company has significant and remarkable contributions in development of local communities through implementing several initiatives in cooperation with the governmental bodies and civil society organizations. The implemented initiatives aimed at maintenance and beautification of a number of governmental schools in the surrounding areas.

The initiative launched by Helwan Cement Company contributed in implementation of the complementary works needed by schools to improve the learning environment and create the atmosphere appropriate for students and teachers to advance education in schools. The company, through this initiative and previous ones, seeks deepening the social responsibility principle and positive participation of the company in the sustainable development march, efforts in support of local communities and improvement of the introduced services.

For his part, Head of El-Tebbin Educational Department Dr. Sheriff Rashad said that Ministry of Education pays due attention to the companies thanks to their societal initiatives and volunteer works which have positive impact on the quality of educational services, society and the nation which we all seek its advancement and progress.

Dr. Rashad explained that this initiative launched by Helwan Cement Company represents a distinguished example and success story for societal responsibility thanks to its message that aims at creating the appropriate educational environment for students and teachers.
