Process Manager – Kattameya Plant

Job Overview:
Control and direct measurements and analysis on the efficiency and effectiveness of the production processes and procedures using the appropriate systems and methodologies by identifying issues for consideration and proposes improvements and technical support to the operation team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop testing and measurement systems and methodologies by allocating and proposing operational standards according to company and market principles to identify the areas for improvement and to identify solutions that will contribute to the maximization of production’s effectiveness.
  • Cooperate with the production team and support them in adopting and implementing testing systems to evaluate and monitor plant’s operating conditions to retrieve data that can reveal areas for improvement.
  • Communicate, team up and share the knowledge with the corporate teams in the field of production and process engineering.
  • Control and approve the development of regular process audits and tests schedule to support the efficient operation of the production.
  • Supervise the development of audits findings report by evaluating and analyzing all the parameters related to manufacturing operation to identify, anticipate, and provide solutions for improvement on issues discovered to enhance the timely operation of the plant and support business owners to overcome potential obstacles.
  • Monitor and approve instructions concerning process and key parameters for new or modified installations by ensuring the smooth production operation of the plant and the fine tuning of the equipment.
  • Control the development of scheduled and ad-hoc production process studies, plant process testing and cost reduction feasibility studies, identifying plant operating conditions and potential discrepancies from operating standards to support the productivity improvement in terms of quantity and quality.
  • Overview and approve the provision of necessary data and reports to support the preparation of the capital improvement project plan by contributing to the attainment of the company’s qualitative and quantitative goals and strategic plans.
  • Follow-up with improvements and changes of the relevant technological field to identify issues that may affect the operation of the plant and the future plans for improvement and growth by keeping the plant management fully informed.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any equivalent 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cement manufacturing
  • Excellent knowledge of cement technology and manufacturing process. 
  • Excellent leadership ability and interaction skills with others while demonstrating the ability to interact with regional employees.
  • Good cost awareness in terms of Business economics
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrated commitment to achieving organizational goals
