El Minya plant signs partnership agreement with El Minya Educational Directorate to support seven schools
El Minya, 21 of August 2007. H.E. Gen. Fouad Saad El Din, Governor of El Minya, witnessed the signing of the partnership agreement for supporting seven preparatory and primary schools located in Samalout district between Helwan Cement Company- El Minya plant, represented by the plant manager Eng. Ahmed El Sawy, and the Director of El Minya Educational Department, Prof. Maher Mohamed.
The 400.000 EGP donated by Helwan Cement Company-El Minya plant for 2007 will be used to cover the costs of upgrading the schools infrastructures, equipping the classrooms, purchasing computers and books for the library and creating green corners for the children.

We are very committed in supporting education initiatives and invest in El Minya students since they are the future of our society”.
