Strategic Marketing Manager
Job Purpose
Maintain market-share and innovate target achievements through forecasting, set strategies by monitoring the market effectiveness and monitor the budget plan (i.e., production capacity, market demand, needs, segmentation, productive surplus…etc). Request for corrective actions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and HeidelbergCement Group polices.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and set short- and long-term Strategies considering internal and external changes.
- Develop competitive tactics for targeted segmentations and sections.
- Create and follow up budget plan (Volumes & Prices) and review process activities based through daily/monthly and quarterly reporting to plan effectively for the rest of the year.
- Propose sales targets to all sales team, by region and customer segments (Volumes and prices) to control the company’s profits and revenues.
- Ensure effectiveness and proper control over marketing results and monitor progress to reach specific marketing objectives and propose and implement corrective actions with different scenarios.
- Manage and report the implementation of all market research projects performed by external agencies to ensure compliance with the budget and project specifications.
- Set standards and criteria for measuring market analysis feedback if needed to reach the company’s target.
- Coordinate with Suez Cement Group cross-functional innovation teams to enhance and improve technical value-added product offerings and service programs to strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide sales team with the estimated own production capacity plan and compare it to the estimated market share as a key figure of the budget development.
- Analyze market situation; gather information on supply, demand, prices, geographical market segmentation, and market trends; conduct product research; analysis competitor and risk and identify new business opportunities to plan the year’s target accordingly and monitor the plan through the year.
- Improve the distribution flows to ensure consistency between market supply & demand and reduce incremental costs (e.g., transaction charges, transportation costs … etc) based on market research to reach the company’s goals.
- Increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and enhance customer lifetime value by assessing their needs and requirements, establishing service matrices, and redesign processes and implement improvements.
- Develop and manage promotional campaigns for products and services and create the most appropriate communication and retail channels to sustain customers’ satisfaction.
- Follow sales results, monitor the sales trend, and suggest corrective solutions if required to prevent any customers complains in the future.
- Manage the brand awareness and the proper positioning of Suez Cement’s products in the different markets.
- Participate or lead ad-hoc projects that may go beyond formal accountabilities to satisfy and respond accordingly to business needs.
- Proactively manage Health & Safety process and procedures to achieve the company ambition of ‘0 Lost Time Injuries’ and to continuously improve the company's Health & Safety performance.
- Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration.
- MBA focuses on marketing, economics is an added value.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing management with strategic exposure.
Technical Skills
- Customer oriented.
- Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
- Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office
