Kattameya plant achieves one year without LTI

Kattameya plant has achieved one year without LTI, where the employees and contractors on February 04, 2021, succeeded to complete one year without lost time injuries. This achievement reflects the relentless efforts of all employees in commitment to the safe work and best professional practices.
Commenting on this achievement, Occupational Health & Safety Sector Director Mohamed Shoala said he is proud for continuation of Suez Cement Group of Companies (SCGC) in sustaining its leadership in Occupational Health & Safety. He added that the Group enjoys deeply-rooted culture of safety awareness and adopts decisive methodology to prevent expected accidents or risks at work, the matter which enabled it to occupy leadership in safety commitment.
Shoala stressed that this achievement shows the Group's keenness on preventing accidents and commitment to keep work places without injuries. He noted that this achievement proves that the teamwork and keenness on enhancing safety allow realizing the goal of "safe work…healthy life".
