Direct Sales Specialist
Job Purpose
Responsible for achieving the annual sales by accomplishing all the operations required, handling all customers complains and concerns, negotiating all contracts and reaching what’s best for the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate and act based on the set annual and monthly target to achieve the company’s targeted profit.
- Handle sales complains and report the company needs.
- Achieve target based on the sales long term strategic plan and build long term partnership with key players to maintain the market share.
- Maintain customer records, using automated systems to keep all records of all the needed information.
- Identify new opportunities and try to turn them into profits.
- Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports to keep all the managers up to date with the target.
- Monitor relevant progress and propose implementation of necessary corrective actions to achieve the defined sales targets.
- Responsible for finalizing all the formal documents to support the area sales managers.
- Participate or lead ad-hoc projects that may go beyond formal accountabilities to satisfy and respond accordingly to business needs.
- Manage Health & Safety process and procedures to achieve the company ambition of ‘0 Lost Time Injuries’ and to continuously improve the company's Health & Safety performance
Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or any relevant area
Technical Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of sales processes, territory management, customer relationship management, and business development.
- Knowledge of market analysis, competitor monitoring, and commercial intelligence gathering.
- Experience in identifying and developing new business opportunities and expanding customer portfolios.
- Proficiency in SAP, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of order management, supply chain coordination, logistics processes, and customer service principles.
- Ability to prepare sales forecasts, market analysis reports, and performance tracking reports.
- Knowledge of credit management processes and customer account administration.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with high field-mobility (possession of a valid Egyptian driver’s license and own car is highly preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with SAP/ERP systems is an advantage.
- Good working proficiency in English (spoken and written).
