CCR Operator

Roles and Responsibilities:

A. Commissioning and PGT Phase

  • Participate in cold and hot commissioning phases.
  • Attend with the contractor operators and assure the handover of the operation facility.
  • Attend the training with DCS engineers and OEM supervisors for startup activities.
  • Handing over the whole system operation with the contractors and assure smooth transformation into continuous operation phase.

B. Plant Operations

  • Cooperate with the Operation Section Head as well as the plant production team to assure the maximum efficiency for waste heat recovery plant and stable operation of the plant cement production lines.
  • Monitoring and directing the operation to assure the stability and continuous operation of the generation facility with all main and auxiliary equipment.
  • Lead and perform the equipment startups and/or shutdown according to the plant operation and maintenance programs.
  • Assure the Safety Operation Procedures (SOP’s) for individual equipment and the complete system to assure the safe operation.
  • Immediate reporting for the defects and/or failures with assuring the correct procedures for LOTOTO are strictly followed.
  • Effective and efficient response to emergency cases with assuring the precise explanation for the problem to assure the shortest time of restoring the operating conditions.
  • Responsible about the control loops, PID’s, Turbine/Generator governing units and field instruments (mechanical and/or digital instrumentations).
  • Assure the performance of all auxiliary equipment including compressors, feed water pumps, condensate pumps, water treatment readiness/efficiency, HVAC, Deaerator and BOP equipment.
  • Frequent reporting and logging of Boiler, turbine and BOP’s and reporting to the operation head about the shift main outcomes and detailed events to facilitate the decision-making process for the operation section head on evaluating the gaps in design & operating parameters and identifying the scope of improvement.
  • Maintain awareness of the automation system control strategy and make recommendations for continuous improvement to maintain plant operational efficiency.
  • Maintain appropriate logbook for proper communication, shift hand over & take over and record purpose to ensure the timely and quality completion of projects and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.
  • Proactively manage Health & Safety process and procedures to achieve the company ambition of ‘0 Lost Time Injuries’ and to continuously improve the company's Health & Safety performance.

Job Qualifications:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering

Experience:

  • 7 years of experience in engineering, installation and operation of power plants/process plants is mandatory. 


Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of safety laws and regulation
  • Good in English
