Sales Support & Logistics Coordinator
Job Purpose
Support the day- to- day activities of the sales support team so that the organization’s sales force is effectively supported, and all sales transactions are processed efficiently, accurately & economically.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers and transporters to own customer inquiries from initiation to resolution.
- Perform administrative tasks to support sales segment team’s operation activities
- Interface with Finance, Procurement, Sales Segments, Marketing and IT to drive continuous improvement of process.
- Generate sales and purchase contracts as directed by commercial team
- Assist Sales team in analyzing contractual commitments, customer specifications, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities
- Review margin analysis with transporters.
- Process orders provided by the direct, indirect & export teams to enhance workflow
- Coordinate quality control documentation and other paperwork associated with processing orders
- Ensure that order changes are properly handled and communicated to all necessary parties
- Handles all related administrative duties related to assigned orders
- Manage and build relationships with 3rd party freight providers to ensure on-time deliveries and low-cost rates
- Follow up, Coordinate and direct transportation needs at multiple facilities to make pickups and deliveries in an efficient and timely manner
- Participate or lead ad-hoc projects that may go beyond formal accountabilities to satisfy and respond accordingly to business needs
- Proactively manage Health & Safety process and procedures to achieve the company ambition of ‘0 Lost Time Injuries’ and to continuously improve the company's Health & Safety performance
- Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience - 0-2 years’ experience in sales or logistics
Working Hours
From 8am to 4pm however shifts sometimes needed as per work needs
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of logistics principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and CRM/ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
