MCC Manager

Job Purpose
Manage and analyze the expressed maintenance needs of the plant and develops the annual maintenance planning, controlling and evaluating its accurate execution. Ensure that all procurement activities are performed according to schedule and budget, covering on-time the operational needs of the plant.

Roles and Responsibilities

  •  Develop the annual maintenance cost forecasting according to maintenance needs, using all the necessary tools that will enable the most effective cost estimation and control to assist in the accurate formulation of department’s budget.
  • Liaise with all maintenance planning professionals for the preparation of preventive and predictive maintenance plans, including and major shutdowns and implement such maintenance activities, to minimize un-planned stoppages and improve plant reliability.
  • Coordinate and support the main revisions (SD) planning.
  • Implement new maintenance technologies and methods to increase the reliability and reduce the maintenance costs for all pieces of equipment.
  • Follow-up and control all maintenance activities to identify compliance to budget, providing the necessary information to management.
  • Ensure the spare parts specifications, communicating all the necessary information to the purchasing department, thus assisting in the reduction of the spare part inventory level.
  • Develop the computer maintenance management system (SAP-PM) and ensure the maintenance practices comply with company’s standards.
  • Review the analysis feedback received after each maintenance activity to develop the appropriate reporting to the plant manager and the maintenance manager and adjust the maintenance schedule accordingly.
  • Conduct team meeting with own team and/or other plant members to achieve high level of communication and cooperation.
  • Motivate, develop and manage his team in a way that ensures high level of initiative, cooperation and personal development opportunities.
  • Ensure that safe work rules and practices are understood, implemented and consistently followed by the Maintenance department employees and subcontractors.  
  • Follow the appropriate health, safety and environmental practices in area of responsibility, identifying and reporting issues of consideration in order to meet company, corporate and governmental standards.
  • Review regular reports concerning the inspection results and the root cause failure analysis (RCFA) to communicate the results with the MCC department to generate corrective action plans for identified discrepancies.
  • Review all available data, proposing preventive maintenance actions to optimize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Develop the preventive maintenance schedule to maintain plant operational efficiency.
  • Develop new projects, measure and analyze results to assist in the effectiveness of the projects.
  • Monitor performance of the equipment according to the defined KPI’s, providing all necessary information to the production and maintenance departments to enable the most effective optimization of production Participate or lead ad-hoc projects that may go beyond formal accountabilities to satisfy and respond accordingly to business needs.      
  • Proactively manage Health & Safety process and procedures to achieve the company ambition of ‘0 Lost Time Injuries’ and to continuously improve the company's Health & Safety performance.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.

Job Qualifications
Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or any equivalent.  

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the same field – cement industry

Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance management methods of predictive inspection tools (SAP & AutoCAD)
  • Experience in maintenance planning and budgeting
  • Experience in maintenance Key performance indicators
  • Very good knowledge of cement products and cement production processes
  • Knowledge of safety laws and regulation
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google software
