Job Overview
Support purchasing activities and core spending categories of goods and services used in all areas of the procurement process to ensure proper implementation and fulfilment of purchase requirements with procurement policies, procedures and group requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Follow and assist in implementing the procurement process to ensure effectiveness and achieve quantified savings within his area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate wide purchasing activities for assigned categories of spend to provide guidance and assistance to other relevant functions.
  • Cooperate in selecting appropriate method of purchasing for the spend categories in the scope requirements to manage stakeholders’ expectations and achieve quantified savings.
  • Follow the availability of materials and services tied to his assigned categories, according to the internal customers' requirements (delivery time, quality and service levels) while pursuing the lowest total cost to ensure effective purchasing process and achieve savings.
  • Assist in negotiating with contracts, suppliers in agreements, in cooperation with the procurement team to facilitate pre-award and post-award activities.
  • Maintain and collect the multi-year and annual needs of the several departments and defining in terms of quantity and timing, the medium- and long-term procurement plans to ensure proper implantation.
  • Follow with stakeholders on review of supplier performance, including quarterly business reviews to ensure suppliers commits and delivers to the agreed service level agreements.
  • Search on a regular basis new opportunity in the supply market, by identifying new trends and suppliers, and proposing alternative solutions when necessary to align with targets and objectives set in both annual and medium long-term procurement plans.
  • Understand the supply chain of all categories in scope to ensure that they are closely monitored to mitigate any potential risk to supply.
  • Support other departments to continually assess requirements and enable the optimal design of purchasing solutions to provide effective supervision of direct reports and ensure the alignment with both the business requirements and the overall purchasing strategy.
  • Participate or lead ad-hoc projects that may go beyond formal accountabilities to satisfy and respond accordingly to business needs
  • Manage Health & Safety process and procedures to achieve the company ambition of ‘0 Lost Time Injuries’ and to continuously improve the company's Health & Safety performance
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.

Job Qualifications
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, logistics or any equivalent .

Experience
· Minimum 1-4 years of experience in field
